I can't tell you how handy my Doodle Letters have been in creating fun little cards (like the one above) for family and friends. I often mix and match letters from the sets I have made, but I am looking to add a few more colors and themes.

My summer has already been filled with fun family vacations, but I have been super eager to get back into creating! I have spent most of my time doing custom work for the last year, but I am not ready to start working on some of my own projects and getting some new clip art uploaded into my shops for all of you to enjoy! 

Thank you so much for all of your support and love over the years! This has been such an amazing journey - with so many ups and downs. Although I have not added new stuff to my shops for the last two years, I have been working on my health and spending more time with my family. Two areas of my life that seemed to get pushed aside when I was busy building my business. I have learned that BALANCE is everything and I don't always have to say yes (something that was really hard for me to learn).

Thankful For...

Because we will be having some family down the week after Thanksgiving due to a few unfortunate circumstances, I decided that I would still prepare a traditional meal for the kids and I. My son is coming down with something and my daughter will only be at the house for a couple of hours before she heads off to work, but I always look forward to a nice Thanksgiving meal every year. I don't think I could ever break that tradition... to be quite honest...I look forward to the day after left-overs..haha

I did not have time to prepare something special for all of you, however, I do want to let you all know how thankful I am for all of you! When I first started blogging back in 2010-11, I never could have dreamed that a few simple posts would be the beginning of such an amazing journey. Thank you so much for all of your support, encouragement and love along the way! I have some big announcements and surprises to announce in the coming weeks, but today...I just want to tell you how thankful I am to be able to run my own business and connect with the most amazing people.

End of the Year Memory Book is HERE! Plus Flowers & a Gift??

I recently finished my End of the Year Doodle Memory Coloring book and I just love how it turned out!! Every page is hand drawn and completely unique. Because the memory book is not "year" specific, you can purchase it only once and enjoy it year after year with your students or kids. I created this more for students who can write, however, younger students can easily illustrate the information with a little direction and help from an adult. 

What's Inside???

1. Inside Title Page (2 versions to choose from)

2. School Rocks 2-Page Spread (Image preview above): Allow students to complete two pages all about their school, teacher(s), and class or choose other things about school your students can save as memories using the alternate versions without text titles.  If you print the memory books on card stock, students can paint the pages with watercolor as well as illustrate the images using pencils, pens or even add real photos once the paint has dried. Using a mix of artistic mediums will really make this little memory book pop. Allow them to get as creative as possible!

3. About Me: This page includes one version with specific titles and one without titles

4. Several Writing/ Illustration Pages 

5. Beginning & Ending of the Year Work Sample Pages

6. Project Pride: Allow students to write, illustrate, and/or glue pictures of a special project, assignment or fundraiser they completed this year that they are especially proud of. You can also come up with something completely different to direct your students to focus on for this page or allow them to come up with their own ideas.

7. My Top Three: Students can choose three favorites to feature on this page. Anything from top three subjects, assignments, days, activities, etc.

8. Teachers Say the Darndest Things:
Probably my most favorite page. I decided to add this page because I have had previous students remind me of some of the quirky things I said while they were in my class and I thought it would be fun for students to write down some of their own favorite teacher quotes to remember.

9. Inspirational Quote Coloring Page: Allow students to color this and frame if if they choose to.

10. Best Friends (2-Page Spread) with one variation to choose from:

11. Things That Inspire Me: a Pinterest inspired 2-page layout that students can make their own.

12. Thoughts: A fun page for students to record their own thoughts about life, school, or other things. These will be fun pages for them to look back on as they grow and blossom over the years.

13. Summer Bucket List

14. 2-Page Signature Page: allow students to write words of encouragement and messages to one another on these pages.

15. Congratulations: A page to glue a graduation photo. This page does have a blue colored border and a blue graduation cap.

BONUS: Printing & Assembly Tips: I have included several pages with some helpful printing tips to eliminate white borders for those of you who prefer to print the full pages. That is what I did for the one I have in the preview images. I was still able to bind it without covering any of the important graphics or content on the pages.

Here is a picture of the Bucket List page that I colored using Crayola Washable Markers (the mini ones)...They weren't ideal for blending colors, so it is a little choppy.. haha

A Friday Freebie!!

Hi Everyone!!

I hope you all have had a wonderful week! I am so glad it's Friday, but at the same time, I can't believe how quickly the weeks are going by!!

UPDATE & QUESTIONS ANSWERED:

Yesterday I received quite a few questions from some of you who did not quite understand how the bundles work...particularly, when I stated that any bundles over $10 are not included in the deal. I can completely see how that might be confusing, so I am here to clarify and give you a few samples to hopefully get you a little more excited about what this all means...

Let's say I want to order the custom bundle and I REALLY like the doodle frame sets. The sets are $4 each, so if I include all of the sets as part of my 16 choices, I would not save very much money...
In fact, it would take up 6 of my 15 choices if I added each Hipster Doodle Frame set separately.

HOWEVER, I noticed that The 3AM Teacher offers these Hipster Doodle Frames in ONE bundled set for UNDER $10!! Because the bundle is under $10, I can add the bundle to my build-a-bundle deal as ONE choice. I will get 6 sets of clipart for ONE of my choices and I still get to choose 14 more sets to my bundle..

One More Day to Get The Teachers Pay Teachers Custom Blog Design Package & $100 in FREE Clipart

I hope you all had a very nice holiday with your families and friends & you are enjoying the rest of your time off!!

I had a really nice Christmas and was surprised to get a NEW camera from my husband and the kids this year... However, my mind has been a bit pre-occupied with the health and well-being of my nephew and my sister.

For Christmas, my nephew had to undergo open heart surgery and he is still struggling with every breath. His esophagus is swollen and doctors have been struggling to figure out why he is still struggling to breathe. They are unsure what is specifically causing the swelling and they are forced to keep the little guy on steroids to help him breathe until they can determine the underlying problem. It was the swelling that actually got him admitted and life-flighted to RADY's Children's Hospital in San Diego. After being admitted, doctors discovered that Jackson's aortic valve in his heart was swollen and causing him to suffocate.. or so they thought. After the heart surgery, the swelling to his esophagus has still continued and his doctors are fervently trying to determine what is causing the swelling.

At only 6 months old, Jackson is back in the hospital and continues to be in a lot of pain. Because my sister lives about 2 hours away from Rady's, she was given a room at the Ronald McDonald House across the street for her prolonged stay, but had her laundry STOLEN after she was called back to the hospital on Monday when Jackson stopped breathing. When she got back to the McDonald House, all of her clothes were gone but whoever stole them, at least, left Jackson's clothes and blanket. I could not believe that someone would do that!!

We continue to pray for both of them and I am asking that you place my sister and her son on your prayer lists as well. So many of you have reached out and asked me how you could help them both. A professional photographer will be setting up a Go Fund Me account, but I am not sure when that will be up and running. I will make sure to share the link as soon as I have it. I believe the photographer will be taking pictures of them today. What a blessing that will be for them both!! Feel free to print the pic above, stick it in your Bible or on your fridge as a reminder to pray for baby Jackson this week.
