Happy Friday Five!! Family and a Freebie

Well, I do not have 5 things to share today, but I do want to share something pretty special!! My brother, Cory, has been writing and playing music for about 25 years now, but now his son, my nephew, Levi, has acquired the same passion and is raising money for their album. I am not presenting this as any sort of fundraiser and I will not even ask you to donate; however, I will ask you to take a few minutes and listen to my nephew and his friend as they spread a powerful message through music!! I will not be sad if you did want to help them raise money for their album..haha

They have an incredible story, an amazing amount of talent and a love and understanding of God that most kids their age do not have!! I am so impressed!!!

Meet, 1 Star Satellite!!
My nephew is the one on the right with the brown, curly hair...

I try my hardest to get a Friday Five out every week and include a feature of someone who has posted a resource on my collaborative blog. The board features resources using my graphics & any one creating resources or crafts with my graphics may joi in on the fun!! Just leave your Pinterest link below in one of the comments. You can check out the board by clicking the button below & if you already contribute to the board, please feel free to grab this button to display on your blog to spread the word..

Friday Find!!!

Well, I have been planning to put together some AWESOME video tutorials and I had my hopes set on getting Adobe Presenter, but I can't wait until the next TpT payday to get the program... so I have been researching and trying to find something that will give me a professional video with good resolution...
This is Adobe Presenter, which is still on my Adobe "have-to-have" wish list... If you must, just take a quick glance to the right of the image below and you might see why I have put this one on my wish list. After buying the Cintiq, I have had to hide my wallet from myself...

After some research and tons and tons of reading, I found one that I just purchased and will try. I hope I will be able to create some videos this next coming week!!! I can't wait!!! I will be playing with this over the weekend and I will let you know how it works.

Friday Frazzle!!!
I have a ton of plans for new ventures and I am working my Tail-Feather OFF!! I finished another custom blog design and I will be adding more blog add-on services that you will be able to purchase. I would love to do some more custom threaded comment designs for your blogs & I can get them finished in about one to two hours now!!!  You can click on the link in the previous line and order your very own custom  CSS code to personalize the commenting area of your blog... the most important part for your followers!! Having something pretty is like putting out a welcoming mat at your front door - it makes people smile!!!

Friday Five is Here!!! Grab a FREEBIE!!

Hi everyone! So many of you ask me about my art, when I draw, how I draw, why I draw and how I come up with my ideas... so today, I am going to share a little piece of me, my heart, and what makes me draw. Consider this to be my

Here are a couple of images of my most recent sketch this week. Sometimes, I feel like I am being swallowed alive by the the pain I carry and the people in my life who are so easily able to find satisfaction in breaking me down. My sketch symbolizes my innermost weakness as well as what makes me strong. I call it, "Swallowed". The reason I chose to leave out my clothes is to express  how stripped my spirit can feel at times. My hidden face symbolizes how my pain can often feel like invisibility when I carry the weight of it on my own. The wings are my saving grace and gift from God, who patiently waits for me to use them. My children are my little loves and my son is the one reaching for my hand. My daughter is so beautifully innocent with her smile and my son's intuitive heart and discernment can often bring me back. I try to hide my feelings on the days I am really struggling, but my son will often pick up that something is off and he will draw with me or just slip me a flower, which brings me back to all of the things I have to be thankful for. Their smiles and giggles are more precious than gold.

I hope this does not make you feel sad in any way. My art is my my music of self-expression and it is what helps me to stay grounded by releasing the swirling chaos of emotions that I would not want to dump on anyone. We all battle our own struggles (some more difficult than others), but it is our human emotions that allow us to understand and connect with one another. Empathy and discernment are the greatest gifts a friend can have.

Just today, I got an uplifting text message from a fellow blogger that I have become very close with. It was just a quick note to let me know that I was in her thoughts and I don't think she will ever know how perfect her timing was. If you feel an urge to send someone you love a thoughtful note - please follow through- because the person on your heart may need a little encouragement at the moment you first had the thought.

I would love to know how you channel your emotions!!

PEACE! HAHA!!

Actually, I found some new tricks in Google Chrome (not new) and I am LOVING them!!! I had some problems with my browser this week due to some add-on and I had to delete my default browser settings...ugh!
In doing so, I lost the little app buttons (links) that show up on the Google Chrome home page.. you know what I am talking about....the little square links that take us straight to the places we visit most often...
Well, I had to figure out how to get them back because even a few extra seconds typing in the omnibox for the website I need to get to is too many seconds!!

By visiting the Google Chrome App Store, you can add apps to your home page to make finding the sites you visit most often more easily. The only reason I did not know this was because I never had a dire need for them. You can add whatever you like or even create your own... I will have to create a fun tutorial to show you all how... it is really fun!! Below are a few examples of what I added to mine..

Tip# Thing to make life easier that I never knew I needed....hahaha
