Hired Help, Linky for the Cause (belated) & a Freebie

(Holiday Ornament FREE Custom Graphic. See my terms of use)

The image above is a fun ornament that I made last year....
I know I write this all the time, but I have been a busy girl!! I am getting ahead on custom orders, working on new sets, and I met up with a blogger pal from Utah this week to start on a new business endeavor!! Melissa from DillyDabbles, had a couple of days to vaca  for Fall and took several hours out of her time with her family in AZ to drive to my house and experience...

the LIFESTYLE of a 3AM WORK-A-HOLIC!!

hahaha...She was awesome to get to know and we are going to make great business partners!!! I also want to thank her HUBS for pitching in name ideas....I can't think of a better one yet...hahaha (Melissa, I hope you get a kick out of his beaming pride...hahaha)

This has been quite a busy year I tell ya!! I can't ever seem to get enough finished during a day (or week). Sometimes, I will work all day - only taking about an hour break - and still have a huge list at 3am.... I have started to organize my life with my new favorite journals from Walmart and my new found obsession with sticky notes!! hahaha!

As most of you may know, I LOATH shopping at Walmart, but sometimes, I can't resist some of their office supply prices!! I will have to upload a pic later - the instant upload on my phone does not seem to be working...boo!
After much debating and a little trepidation, I hired some extra help. The first interview I conducted was with a nice male named, Prince Charles (or Charlie as we know him).
I am not sure it is going to work out very well - my employee doesn't speak any English.....hahahaha
Okay - back to reality...hahaha....this is just my dog. We have now begun calling Charlie, Prince Charles, because he has taken on a "privileged" sort of demeanor lately. He often comes into the office and insists on sitting on my lap - looking for any goodies I may have stashed.....hahaha
In other pop news....Frosty is ready and set to be mailed out!! He will be mailed out on Monday; although, his trip and directions will be posted on Sunday afternoon! I am thoroughly excited to get him mailed out!!! His first stop is in good ol' Arizona!! He will be visiting my dear friend, Linda Kamp from Around the Kampfire!!

If you haven't had a chance to visit her yet, YOU DEFINITELY should!! She is having great success on TPT & her resources are amazing!!
I completed and posted my new Colors in My Head Unit on TPT and I have sold quite a few of them already! I created some really fun activities to teach colors and color words, rhyme, ordinal numbers, sequence, and more using a set of color poetry rhymes I wrote. I also incorporated my "Brain Pockets" into this unit that I am TOTALLY excited about! I also was filled with inspiration in my dreams about making a cute video to go along with the color chants that I wrote. I am not sure that the video will turn out as awesome as it was in my head, but I am going to give it a try..hahaha

I finally hooked up my new web cam (after letting it sit for weeks) and I will bribe the kids to help me make a video (or just threaten to take away the internet......hahahaha... I wasn't able to convey the rhythm within the units and thought that everyone could come up with their own styles; however, the unit is called Colors in MY Head....so, maybe I should make sure to include the rhythm that is also in my head...hhahaha
I would love for some of you to use the unit, and send in or post a video of your version - how cool would it be to get a little snip-it inside all of your heads? I wonder how different or alike our chants would be...hahaha

If you have any video tips - send them my way. It should be fun.

Kimberly over at The Learning Tree did a "linky for the Cause" last week & I missed it! The week just went by so fast!! I decided, however, that it is never too late to contribute a cause to help women!! I know several people who have had or have cancer and I can't think of a better organization to post about. My daughter's school does a Relay for life and I am going to contribute ONE dollar for every ONE new follower this week on my blog!!
Today, I have 1,303 followers (HOLY COW) and I will contribute a dollar for every new follower this week.

I know that many of you have difference organizations that you contribute to, but I am challenging you to contribute ONE dollar for every NEW follower this week to an organization of your choice!! We can make a difference!!
I am going to make this post fairly short, but I have set a personal goal to post everyday this week & see how it goes...hahaha! To help, I have made myself a blog post schedule (tentative...)...

Next week I will be celebrating my ONE YEAR BLOGGIVERSARY!!! To celebrate, I am going to have a FREEBIE FRENZY week and a Halloween costume picture contest!! Next week will be a blast and this week will be my preparation for next week. I can't wait to do some blog stalking later today....watch out bloggers...The 3AM Teacher is making the blog rounds...hahahaha.

Here is a Fall Freebie. I created some cute printable bulletin board borders for Fall!!The borders are in a PDF that is printable....these are not clipart images.....sorry peeps....gotta have some variations sometimes...hahaha.. (click the image below to download the file)

I am almost finished with my first EVER, Winter HOLIDAY graphics collection!!! I am hoping to have it ready for tomorrows post!! I am so excited to show you what I did!!

I almost forgot.....The cute Rikki from
