Please use the button above to link back to this post.Happy Summer Bloggers!! It really does seem like I haven't posted in a REALLY long time (which I haven't).
The AZ sun can be quite a killer & I got sun poisoning last Thursday! As most of you know - My husband and I own and operate a Heating & Air Conditioning Company in Arizona (we are certified TRANE dealers...just in case you were wondering...hehehe).
Sometimes, I will spend some time out in the field, but the AZ weather can be a killer...even when you try to stay hydrated. I got pretty sick and have been trying not to get too much sun the past few days. Being sick is not fun at all!! I want to really thank all of you who sent me such sweet emails and notes!!! I have been trying to just take it easy, but the pool is so tempting!!!!
I have been easing back into the swing of things, but it can be hard in the summer to stay in my office drawing! Our HVAC business gets super busy and the thought of lounging in the pool never gets old (-; I wish we had a beach! I grew up in California and never lived more than a 30 minute drive to the beach, so I definitely miss being able to just load up the trunk and hit the beach for the day. )-; Well, my lack of enthusiasm to sit in the office has shown in my art procrastination, empty blog posts, and lower sales...I must get back on track!!!
I have been trying to save up for the Cintiq heavenly drawing screen, but after buying the car and the new PC...I am going to have to wait. You would think my motivation would be thriving to try and get enough money for the Cintiq, but the crystal white glimmers on the walls in the office remind me that there is a refreshing pool right outside the door....DISTRACTION!!! Even though it is an above ground pool, my urge to chillax in the slow-moving water in the sun has been taking the lead on my list of things I need to do (even though it is not technically even on that list). On a little funny side note...have you ever noticed that there really is no graceful way to get into an above ground pool? I wobble up the ladder every time and hope no one around me sees. It is a really big sized pool, but the process of getting in without falling, snagging my bathing suit, or breaking the ladder can be a good reason to stay in the office sometimes...LOL!! I would definitely NOT be having an adult swim party at my house...hahaha!!
Moving on...The Date and time has been changed for the AZ blog Meet Up. Due to several requests, Linda and I decided that it would be better if we changed the date. Plus, Linda is in the process of moving a little closer my way...so she will be very busy I'm sure! If you will be in AZ in July 10th and would like to meet up with us, please post about the meet up, link your post back to this one using the button at the top, and add your link to the linky at the end of this post. Please email Linda Kamp to RSVP by clicking the flower image below or clicking her name above. I hope we can have a great turn out and I am really excited to get to meet all of you AZ bloggers!!!

That crinkle paper is great! I bet you guys are super busy this time of year! We are going to have 102 degrees on Thursday in Ohio! We had to replace our ac/furnace last July...of course it went out the day it was 98 degrees! Typical!

Yes, we are really busy, but I can't complain. This past winter was really slow and we had to let go 2 guys. The A/C ALWAYS goes out when you really need it...LOL! And it is one of the most expensive...but absolutely necessary items people must have; especially in AZ! We have 2 units on our house and one went out a couple of weeks ago. It was so nice to tell my husband..to grab the capacitor out of the garage and fix it...(-; I do know a lot about HVAC, so if you ever have any questions, let me know...you can email me @ 3amteacher@gmail.com.

Endless Pinabilitites!
Sun poisoning?? I didn't even know you could get that! I live in Southern California and I LOVE bringing my beach bag out and heading out for the day, I can't imagine going from full access to sun poisoning. That's it, I'm telling my husband, we're never leaving Cali! =) I hope you are feeling better and thanks for the backgrounds. Too cute, as always!
