GOOD AFTERNOON!!! I feel like I have been wearing an invisibility cloak lately...hehehe. I haven't left comments on any blog posts (even though I was dying to) because it is such a pain doing it from my ipad! While finishing up two custom buttons, I used the eraser tool in my Adobe CS5 and the computer froze!!! I was mortified I tell you!! Simply mortified!!! My son had been in the office while I was doing the finishing touches and told me how much he liked it & then ...CRASH!!!
The computer actually completely froze and I couldn't even use the command codes to bypass the "Mrs. Freeze" sort of like Miss Viola Swamp - except I don't know what I am being punished for...hehehe. I had to UNPLUG the computer, which I absolutely HATE doing!! For one, it could blow the motherboard and, two, I lose all of my preferences and presets in my design program each time it crashes!! My computer is only two years old (ancient, actually for me) and I think I am going to need a new one....DARN....hehehe. I am just so afraid that it will crash and I won't be able to get it back up before I can afford to buy the new computer...
OH, if I only had a MONEY TREE then all of my problems would be solved...hahahaha (yeah right!)
Well, I did not go back on the program today, but instead opened up my machine, cleaned it out, reset the BOOT (you can remove the little battery on the motherboard and put it back in to get reset the "brain" and remove any corruptions in the BOOT system), I then ran my handy registry cleaner, brain swiper, and the Alzheimer's button to magically remove bad memories...hehehe
I am still a little afraid to go back on...but I will tonight because my need to draw is bigger than my fear of a crash....who knew!!?? Since I wasn't able to draw anything new for you, I decided to share a cute puppy I created upon request....enjoy!!!!
I "ruv" you all...LOL!
I "ruv" you all...LOL!

I can't believe I have over 600 followers!!!! This is soooo exciting!! I will have my next big celebration at 1000...woo hoo...can't wait!!
In other news, I have decided what I am going to make and send out on Monday for the Pinteresting Exchange....I spent a lot of time on Pinterest on my ipad this morning (in between blog stalking of course (-;) and I found so many cool things to make. The directions say to make something and not spend over $5 on the craft, but it did not say that I couldn't make more than one craft ...hehehe. There are too many cool things to make...I even found recipes to make...
WAIT FOR IT...
GIRL SCOUT COOKIES!!!!!!!
Yeah, no more spending 5 bucks for three cookies and having to wait a year to taste the deliciousness!! Happy mouth = sad thighs...AHHHH, there is always a bummer. I wish I had a magic pill that would allow me to savor the goodness, but block any bad calories from entering into my danger zone...hehehe I actually LOVE plain popcorn cooked on the stove. We actually cooked the popcorn on the stove a few years ago because the microwave broke and we have cooked it this way ever since! No more drippy gross popcorn; however, we never did get our microwave fixed...hehehe. Personally, we NEVER used the microwave, but we occasionally miss it when we need to warm up something simple and have to turn on the oven. The thing is...we can afford to get a new one, but it has never been such a need that we remember while we are out...
Hold on....my son is drawing some designs he wants me to look at later (how cute), but he just asked me how to spell Vampire Wine!!! I am not sure what to think...my next set just might include something very out of the ordinary...LOL... He actually did draw the bunny clock in my funny egg set. I looked at his design then drew it in my program and put it in the set. I told him he would make $1 for every one of those sets that were sold and he earned $20!! He was soo excited that he has been drawing up a storm....I am not sure if I will be able to keep up with his designs. He completely amazed me last night when he brought me his Cafe' drawings. The theme of the buttons I am working on is cafe and chocolate, so he drew a bunch of cakes, root beer floats and I was incredibly impressed!!! I have a little artist on my hands...hehehe
Anywho, I am being called to dinner and typing as fast as I can to finish this post...hehehe Thank you so much for being completely amazing!! Here is the kitty for the puppy...

Love the animals. You have such amazing talent!
ReplyDeleteI know it was $10 max on the project and like you, I'm making a few things for my person :) I'm loving how they turned out. And I think I only spent $6 and I've made 3 things. Of course I had some stuff already at home that I am using.

The dog and cat are so cute! I ruv them! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous of your ability (and your son's) to draw!! I am not artistically talented at all and it would come in very handy when teaching! :)
