Friday Five: Freebie, Find, Frazzle, Funny & Feature!!

WHO LOVES OWLS??
I have created five more owls and a trio for this week's Friday Freebie!! These cuties will be made available on TpT later this week, but for now, you can grab them straight from my blog!!

IMPORTANT: Please read my TERMS OF USE before using any of my free graphics. You may place a link on your blog to share about the freebies, but please do not offer these on your blog for free. THANKS A BUNCH!! ENJOY!!

I have a cute find this week!! I found this video posted on YouTube and thought it was hilarious!! Enjoy!!

This week the word, frazzled, means EXCITED!! hahaha
Take a close look at this picture....what do you see??

Dem Bones - Inspire Co.
Image from: http://thepioneerwoman.com/homeschooling/2013/01/images-to-inspire/#

If you said BONES, you are absolutely correct! This was part of a birthday party favor; however, I think these would be a great activity or present from the teacher during a unit on human anatomy!!! Wouldn't the kids just love these??

These were supposedly made from cake and fondant; however, I think it might be possible to create an even easier method....Large stick pretzels, extra large marsh mallows on each end and then a quick dip in a swimming pool of white chocolate...yes?? You could even make mini ones using small pretzel sticks and  mini marshmallows!!

I have a cute little joke for this week's funny that I found on (http://academictips.org/blogs/jokes/)

Physics Teacher: Isaac Newton was sitting under a tree when an apple fell on his head and he discovered gravity. Isn't that wonderful?

Student: Yes sir, if he had been sitting in class looking at books like us, he wouldn't have discovered anything.

Funny....almost...hahaha This might make some of you a little sad when you really think about the students' response.

I have a couple of goodies this week for all of you!!

    1. You are so sweet!! Thank you!! I am always excited to see what idea I follow through with..LOL I have so many ideas that I write down, but never enough time to complete them all... Poetry themes are in the works. My FAVORITE author as a child was/ is now....Shel Sylverstein. His poetry makes me come up with the funniest characters! I can't wait to reveal that one. I had started on a football set, but got bored after about the 10th drawing...I might get that one done as well..hahaha

  6. The owls are great!

Michelle, I would love to help put an Arizona bloggers meeting together... do you know if that happens yearly? If so I would love my name to be added. If not, might you have a list of Arizona bloggers that would be interested in getting together?

    1. Hi Cindy!

There was something in the works for January, but that plan fell through as everyone got super busy. We did the last meet up right before the new school year started, which worked out really well so I hope we can have another one this summer...if not sooner. I will definitely make sure to keep you posted!!
